The project
The main purpose of the project is development of inter-disciplinary CADM Master Course
aiming training of Ukrainian System Analysts and it introduction in four Ukrainian Universities. The
Course will be based on the existing Master Course of Rome University "Master in State Management
and Humanitarian Affairs" (http://www.eco.uniroma1.it/europa/index.htm1). In Academic year 2005-
2007 this Master Course deal with the following topics (Module A):
1. Methodology of Research
2. Geopolitics
3. International Organizations and International Relations
4. Institution Building and Human Rights
5. Economics
6. Humanitarian Affairs and Crisis Management
7. Environmental Sustainability
8. Health Quality Management
All these topics will be included into the Curriculum of the CADM Master Course. Besides, it is
presumed that the developed curriculum of the CADM Master Course will also include some
disciplines, first of all concerning methodology of System Analysis and Information Technology for
Decision Making that have to be taught within CADM Master Course. Duration of the Course will be
18 months (or 24 months). The curriculum will have modular structure. Establishment of ECTS system
will promote students mobility and allow organizing the parallel students’ training at the universities
of different countries on the Double Diplomas system for students’ graduation by Ukrainian diploma
(CADM Course) and Italian diploma (SMHA Course). Lectures, seminars, meetings and round tables
will be organized with the participation of experts from international organizations, regional and
national government officials, and managers from private and non-profit institutions. It is planned that
the first (English) version of the CADM Master Course will start in 4 Ukrainian Universities since the
1 September 2007.
The course will teach the EU and UA academic staff extensively using teaching
information technologies (electronic manuals, video-conferences, E-mail consultations etc.). The
second (Ukrainian) version of the CADM Master Course will start since the 1 September 2008.
