Winter school 2009 program

Within the framework of TEMPUS TACIS T_JEP 26193-2005 project “Crisis analysis and decision making in Ukraine” the winter school “Crisis management in the conditions of the global economic crisis” took place in Ternopil National Economic University on January 22-29, 2009. The winter school was organized by the consortium comprised of Stuttgart University (Germany), Rome 1 La Sapienza University (Italy), Kyiv International University, Dnepropetrovsk State University, Ternopil National Economic University and Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University (Ukraine).

In the framework of the winter school a number of sessions, round tables, debates, breakup groups with students, professors and public representatives took place. They discussed the ways of overcoming the social-economic crisis in Ukraine and in the other countries. Such important questions were touched upon as causes and effects of global financial crisis, Ukrainian reforms that will help overcome the crisis, governmental crisis, social-economic and humanitarian aspects of the world economic crisis.
